Design+Reason's Visual Identity
I used Design+Reason Communications as a business title for my freelance work along with the slogan, "The Science of Conveying Visual Messages." Striking Portraiture and Imagery: The designs prominently feature impactful, often close-up, black and white or desaturated portraits. This demonstrates my ability to use powerful imagery as a central focal point to evoke emotion and draw the viewer in. Dynamic Layouts and Composition: The placement of the figures and any accompanying graphic elements demonstrates my strong understanding of composition, creating visually engaging and dynamic layouts. Bold Contrast: There's a clear and effective use of contrast, particularly between the dark tones of the imagery and any lighter elements or backgrounds. This creates visual drama and ensures elements stand out. Consistent Visual Style: Across these pieces, there appears to be a cohesive artistic direction, suggesting a distinct visual language or aesthetic applied to my work.
